Who has had the greatest influence on your career and what was the best advice he or she gave you?  

Someone who had a great influence on my career was Pierre Franey. Pierre was a renowned chef and food writer, and he was also the father of a close friend of mine. I was inspired by him and his autobiography, which shares the message to focus on things you are passionate about, as that will propel you to success. If you are fortunate enough to work in a field you are passionate about, it will not only inspire others but also lead to remarkable achievements. I often reflect on what inspires me, and it has led to great things. 

As a ULI NY Awards nominee, what makes you most proud of your project?  

There are two main things I am most proud of. First, we had an ambitious plan, given the unique nature of this project, to set a new standard for the modern workplace in New York. We believe we have successfully accomplished that. The second thing I am most proud of, beyond the project itself, is how the team came together under unusual and challenging circumstances during the pandemic to make it all happen. 

What excites you about the future of New York City?

Everything about the future of New York City excites me. The city is constantly reinventing itself, pushing boundaries, and raising the bar. It is this dynamic energy that makes New York the most exciting place to be and to develop.
